The Incredibly Real Story of Paradise Island: A Place Where Trees Grow Ice Cream and Puppies Learn Gymnastics
There once existed a magnificent location known as Paradise Island in a continent far, far away. This was no average island with standard fare like coconuts and seashells. No, dear! Heavenly Island was the type of paradise where marshmallow grass grew and the sun never set. Who needs ordinary grass when you can have meadows made of marshmallows?
The fact that ice cream grew on trees was the nicest thing about Paradise Island. Yes, here is where you heard it first! Imagine being able to choose a double fudge chocolate chip cone right from the branches in place of apples or oranges. Not to mention the sprinkles—every Wednesday afternoon, it rained sprinkles, and the whole island had a huge ice cream celebration. The ice cream truck jingle sounded strangely similar to the songs that even the birds were tweeting.
The people living on Paradise Island were a fascinating group. Unicorns were loose and would give out shiny stickers to anybody who asked nicely. Everybody on the island was kept safe during the daily synchronized swimming contests by dolphins, who also served as lifeguards. It was also said that the children who climbed the trees heard whispers from the trees that revealed mysteries, such as the whereabouts of hidden wealth.
In relation to treasure, the town center on the island had a treasure chest. Nevertheless, what was within was the most priceless item of all: blankets that were never too hot or too scratchy, not money or jewelry. Curled up in one of these blankets, you could listen to the resident storyteller sloth’s slow-paced tales, which you had to hear twice to get the finish.
It’s true that the school on Paradise Island was not like any other school you had ever attended. Rather of teaching dry topics like spelling and algebra, they gave lessons like Bubblegum Bubble Blowing and Cloud Jumping 101. The favorite part of the day was recess, when you could shoot down the slippery slide like a rocket and swing up to touch the clouds made of cotton candy.
A new student came to Paradise Island one day. Benny was his name, and he was from the nearby Homework Hills. Benny couldn’t believe his eyes and ears when he saw the marshmallow meadows and heard the tickle monsters chuckle since he was accustomed to pens and textbooks.
Benny first felt a little uncomfortable. He had no idea how to participate in the unplanned dance parties or the bubble-blowing competitions using bubblegum. However, the amiable animals of Paradise Island extended a warm greeting to him with their paws, fins, and wings. Benny quickly gained the ability to fly through the skies with the best of them once they taught him the skill of cloud jumping.
